She's chic, she's fancy, she loves animals! I want you all to meet my friend Alexandra from Lullabies and Affairs. She answered some questions for us to get to know her a little better.
It´s one of those Comfy outfits I wear to run errands during the day.
Black graphic sleeveless Shirt from Zara.
Green distressed pants from Strawberry.
Sandals from Me too.
Bag by Kenneth Cole.
How would you describe your style?
I would say that my style is eclectic, because I enjoy to mix and match different styles and put them together in a way that suits my preference.
What are you wardrobe staples?
A pair of skinny denim jeans, black skinny pants, a white tee, a pair of stretch colorful pants, the infamous little black dress, shorts, black high heels, a big purse, a black blouse, a clutch and statement jewelry.
Most expensive item in your closet?
A local designer´s dress I wore for a wedding.
Most wanted item?
The classic Chanel earrings.
I don´t really have one in particular; overall, I just like it when designers make wearable pieces that I can at least dream of wearing them someday, but if a designer creates something that isn´t a result of putting an animal through pain and suffer (for its fur or skin), then he/she has my instant respect.
How much do you spend on clothes?
I frankly rather splurge on accessories than on clothing, so I really go with affordable pieces and complement them with more high end accessories.
Favorite piece of jewelry?
My Tous bracelet collection and my Yves Saint Laurent Arty ring.
Anywhere I can find affordable clothing that fits my style, just to say some: F21, Zara, Strawberry, Urban Outfitters, 2020 Ave.
For the moment, I´m loving the True Escape scent from Victoria´s Secret.
What’s your favorite way to do your hair?
Wavy and loose.
What is your go-to outfit when you have no idea what to wear?
A long-sleeve blouse with black skinny pants and high heels.
One fashion trend you wish would come back or stay
I would love it if the short on the front, longer on the back shirt trend stays in the fashion cycle, because I love how I can style it with so many bottom pieces (skirts, shorts, denim jeans, etc).
Show us your most prized possession in your wardrobe.
My YSL Arty ring. It has a history behind it and its meaningful to me.
