Every saturday I'll try to bring someone special for you to meet, today is the turn of my friend Alicia Gibbs. A creative fashionista in a budget, food lover and fit junkie. She was kindly enough to answer a short interview and take us inside of her closet.
This is from my dress from your favorite era post and by far it is my most favorite outfit because it is modern & fun but classy and sexy too!
How would you describe your style?
I'm not sure if I have a set style but I would say its bold & risky, casual chic & Subtle sexy. I like to mix colors, patterns & prints.
What are you wardrobe staples? I think my jeans, I have all kinds of colors & cuts. Perfect for every season & occasion. Plus they can be dressed up or down.
Most expensive item in your closet? My Luichiny fifty fifty boots, thankfully they were sent to me for a review.
Most wanted item?
I want a leather flouncy skirt & a really nice quality tutu skirts. Oh also a camo jacket & cargo vest. I ordered a cargo vest on line & it fits a little tighter than I would like.
Favorite designer? I'm not really into labels or brands but Guess has always had a special place in my closet.
How much do you spend on clothes?
I am very frugal. I like to shop clearance racks & sales. I also use coupons. I don't mind spending on a piece I know I will get lots of use out of but the cheaper the price the better so long as it doesn't compromise quality. Favorite piece of jewelry? Statement necklaces! They can make a basic tee go glam with no effort.
What are your favorite places to shop?
I go to Forever 21 & Stores similar to it but I'm very careful with the items I select because those are more for juniors. Macy's, Gap, Target, Alloy.com & I occasionally thrift.
Favorite fragrance? My all time absolute favorite is Victoria's Secret midnight mimosa which was discontinued a few years back *tear*
Whats your favorite way to do your hair?
Now that it's short - a wash & go. But when it was longer either a twist out or blow out.
What is your go-to outfit when you have no idea what to wear?
I don't have one I'll keep changing until I feel comfortable or simply just stay home lol
One fashion trend you wish would come back or stay
I'm not really big on trends I wear what I like & what works best for my figure wether it's in or not. But for others, Timberland & Sneaker heels should stay away!! Far away!!

My shoe collection... I've added at least 8 more shoe pairs since these photos.
My relationship with heels is a love-hate one, lets face it they look so freaking unbelievable amazing but they feel so uncomfortably painly when they are on. Luckily for us this spring we'll be able to enjoy the heights without having to feel the discomfort, sounds unbelievable right?, thanks to this amazing shoe call the flat- form.

First let's take a time machine and go back to the 60's.
The mini dress was quite a hit back then specially because women were more conservative.
