Your Future is Calling: TEACH

What Does It Take to Be A Great Teacher Today?

She was always encouraging us with a smile, kind words and a heart of gold. She will go above and beyond to make sure we understand the daily lessons, she used to write songs, act plays, invent new games all for the love of making an impact in our lives. I'm glad that i had a teacher like that when I was younger.

I really hope that my daughter will have the same opportunity as I did. Unfortunately the future of American education doesn't look so bright, it is estimated that within the next ten years, 65% of America’s teachers will retire. Please make sure you are the change the world needs to see. The future starts today with you.

TEACH, Academy Award-winning director Davis Guggenheim’s third documentary film about education in America, airing on CBS on Sept 6 and Pivot on Sept 18th, asks the question: What Does It Take to Be A Great Teacher Today? Make sure you tune in and watch the trailer for more information and to find out how you can play a role in keeping public education strong, vibrant and innovative.
Cick here to watch the trailer.

Please feel free to share your inspiring teacher story in the comment section below.

Currently Obsessed: SUMMER BUSTIERS

Hi guys,

In the past few days, I’ve been crushing on bustiers that tiny piece of fabric that translates into pure awesomeness   Unfortunately they’ve been associated with lingerie due to their bra-like shape, but the summer versions are way far from looking like underwear. It's really hot outside so they are a great way to fight the heat!   They’re a great option for layering – under an oversize blouse, a sheer top or a sweater.

These are my top 3 options on how to style them:

Loving them or hating them? Please let me know in your comments!

5 Beauty Favorites

Hey Guys! Today I'm here with my top five favorites for the month of June. These are all makeup/beauty related items and these are my honest opinions on this products.

The first item will be this Revlon Color Burst Lip Butter which you can get at any drugstore, why I love it? It adds that missing pop of color to any makeup look plus it really moisturizes your lips. Get it here.

The second item that I'm currently loving is my E.L.F. Little Black Book Cool Edition, because it is full of colors and I want to try out new makeup looks during this summer. Get it here. P.S. is only US$6!

Next favorites are my Almay CC cream and the NYC Minute nail polish in Prospect Park Bloom. I've tried several BB creams and they all sucked, for me coverage is very important as my skin is not perfect and BB creams did not provide me . This CC cream comes with SPF 35 which is a big plus specially as the summer has officially arrived.
The NYC nail polish is a must have, I hate waiting for my nails to dry. I always get the "brilliant" idea of painting them before I go to bed, and have to remove the polish right away as they get screwed. Well not any more! This nail polish dries super quick and lasts really long. It's a keeper!

Last but not least is my Brushlab Voa Collection Powder Buffer Brush. I've tried several brushes and they all loose the bristles which I hate A LOT! This brush is fantastic for blending your makeup and does not loose a single bristle. A big keeper I must say

I hope that you have enjoyed this list. Do you have any favorites? Please tell us on the comment box below.

Love,
S.
